A boundary-pushing tropical stunner, Limonada de Coco is an experimental nano-lot from the pioneering Rodrigo Sánchez at Monteblanco Farm. This coffee is a masterclass in controlled fermentation: cherries are co-fermented with a blend of 10 specialized yeasts, dried coconut, cholupa, and sugar-rich molasses in a sealed environment for over 7 days. The result is an explosion of vibrant flavour, evoking coconut lemonade, pineapple, and vanilla cream, all balanced by a brown sugar sweetness and silky texture.

1. Co-Fermentation with Coconut & Native Fruits:
This coffee is co-fermented with a custom mix of 10 yeasts, dried coconut, and cholupa (a tart local fruit often used in lemonade). These additions are meticulously integrated into a sugar-rich ferment that transforms the coffee’s flavour profile into something tropical and indulgent.

2. Cutting-Edge Fermentation Science:
Created by renowned producer Rodrigo Sánchez, the process lasts over 180 hours and is carefully monitored for pH, temperature, and microbial activity. The result is a coffee that blurs the line between drink and dessert, evoking coconut cream, pineapple, vanilla, and citrus zest.

3. A Showcase of Caturra Purpura:
The base varietal, Purple Caturra, is itself rare-cherries ripen to a dark purple and carry dense, sweet mucilage ideal for controlled fermentation. Combined with Rodrigo’s precision, it becomes a vessel for layered, exotic expression.

The cup is intensely aromatic, juicy, and long-lasting with a round, creamy body and refined acidity. A true tropical indulgence for the adventurous palate, produced in extremely limited quantities.
